Attention: Important Security Information
A virus has been sent by an unknown user to the TheSpork.com email server. The name of this virus is W32/Mimail@MM. Mimail utilizes an exploit found in Internet Explorer, Outlook, and Outlook Express to penetrate a user's computer for infection. The virus can only utilize such an exploit however if the user (1) has not kept his software up to date and (2) opens the attachment. If infected, this virus then scans the user's computer for email addresses and then spams each of these addresses with the virus email.
To do this, the virus uses its built in smtp server and sends an email spoofed to appear as though it is from admin@[the user's domain].com.
Note: An email has been sent to many of the @thespork.com email addresses to appear as though it was sent by the admin at thespork.com account. This is not the case. The email sent by the virus has infected somebody with a connection to thespork.com, more than likely a visitor. This person's IP address at the time of the email was 213.48.202.225
If this IP address resembles yours, you may be the infected party and should scan your computer and remove the virus. Note to anybody with a sporkmail account (I don't think anyone still uses theirs, but just in case) don't run the attachment, I'd never email you something you were't expecting and I'd probably IM you and then post it in the files folder somewhere anyway.

Hello! This has nothing to do with that posting on security info...sorry! I just got my laptop 2 days ago and I'm post-happy because I miss my friends from home!
I, unlike Grant, was not able to sneak access during boot camp ;-) But at least I'm DONE with Basic Cadet Training!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, hope all is going well back in Louisville...email me if you want...

I thought the fact that it looks like the guy is stroking your face with the back of his hand was pretty enjoyable. In fact, when I told him this, he realized it too. And we both had a pretty big laugh on that one.
So let us know how it is, type a little something here maybe ... it's cool you have a computer, grant at the navy still doesn't. Guess they train harder.
