Is this me? Should I apply? Or should I hold out, cause what if the job sucks or so does the pay? I mean, I wanted to work at a camera company, I was going to research that first ... and can I cancel my registration at this point?

 
Under direct supervision, co-op will be responsible for the application of sensors, sensor systems, and data acquisition systems to research projects. Principle duties include: Perform laboratory testing of design concepts and pipeline products, perform verification and testing of systems, perform sensor technology evaluation, assist with sensor and data acquisition system setup. Interpersonal contact with all cross-functional departments, vendors, surgeons, and sales personnel. Qualifications: Ability to handle multiple projects at once, and to meet milestone objectives in a timely manner; above average oral and written communication skills; technical knowledge or coursework in circuit analysis, measurement, data analysis, and computer programming; hands-on electronics laboratory experience (wiring, soldering, part selection, basic electronics). Under direct supervision, independent problem solving ability necessary to affect outcome of research programs. Discretion and judgment within established guidelines exercised to obtain research project goals. Preferred experience with PC, sensors (load cells, LVDTs, encoders, DVRTs, temperature sensors, etc.), signal conditioners, power supplies, PC based data acquisition systems and software, verification equipment and software, and various test and measurement equipment.
