More productivity ... I revived

More productivity ... I revived the polling system (let's hope I update it as often as I'm updating this site nowadays) and the .NET Login screen on the front of the site. If you've forgotten your login information, email for it ... I'm no longer at spork@thespork.com so don't bother. (don't know why i bothered to make that a link ... maybe to piss spammers off it won't work?) update: just brought back the user filter for news ... working on an entry scrambler

but do try j dash hanauer at northwestern dot edu. I've avoided spam on that one thus far (with the exception of my address existing on a freaking engineering page through northwestern ... luckily that spam gets filtered easily and is only for discounted computer software for students).

What else do I need to do with this site? New layout. I'll work on that soon. First I need to fix up the layout for Cool Shades. (link below, I think).

isn't whisky how you spell out the military word for "w" in the alphabet? Grant would know this one.

i never unpacked from college. when i came home, my grandma had moved in, taken my room and i got moved downstairs in the den behind a couch, so, everything is still in the boxes.

at leat you can run john, i'm 5'11" 300lbs i dont think i could run a thought through my mind without sweating let alone run a mile or two.

question: does anyone here like cincinnati? i love my school on it's little hill, but as for the city itself... not so much.

Umm, you can basically spell the word either way. Both are correct. As for the military, it doesn't matter how you spell it because it's spoken radio call signs anyway.

As for the running thing ... you might not be able to now, but you could start slowly, y'know? That's all I'm doing. I'm pretty out of shape I can only do about a half mile. Then it's mostly spurts of sprints that I'll run till I can't, regain my energy, run some more, and so forth ... till in the end I've done at least three laps (2.7 miles) and maybe only a total of 1-1.5 of them done running. I'll build up over the summer hopefully.

Cincinnati is where both of my parents grew up and where both of my older siblings were born. I still have family there, so maybe I'm biased. But yes, I like Cincinnati. Good shopping, good concerts, good food (if you know where to go), etc.

Chicago is great though, I love that city. Man. I just finished watching Michael with John Travolta. At the end of that movie they end up in Chicago, and it's so great to see video of the L. Gotta love that shit. Just like how The Fugitive has been playing a lot on HBO lately. Also good Chicago movie.

Anyway, time to walk the dog.

I've been working consruction this summer, so I'm not a complete sack of lard. I got some muscle, but absolutely no stamina what-so-ever. So, I might start doing what you're doing and run/jog a bit.

I might be somewhat blinded to Cincinnati myself. i do enjoy going to Reds games quite often. But I live in Price Hill, which is on it's way to being the worst neighborhood in Cincinnati and already in the top 10 worst in the nation. So, everwhere I usually go is run down and not safe to walk alone. I'd go out exploring Cincinnati more, but the one time I went out driving, I got so frustrated trying to figure out the roadways and everything I swore never to go again. New year, new possibilities.

Go Reds
