OK, somebody has to read this site ... either way, the RIAA is looking to make it illegal to even assist in any copyright infringement like downloading music. Therefore, people like Apple who sell a device that CAN be used in theory to utilize illegal copyrights (the iPod, duh), they could be sued.

Stop this!

It's time to inform our senators, so everyone go to the EFF's INDUCE ACT Action Alert page and let's get Kentucky (Jim Bunning, Mitch McConnell) or Illinois (Richard Durbin, Peter Fitzgerald) or whatever state you go to school in involved. The page will let you fill out your information and choose to send either an email or fax with your name on it to your state's senators (it'll automatically know where). If you're like me, you'll be cool and fill it out for both your home and school addresses.

Whatever.
